Volunteers will guide you where to park as you arrive at the studio. Vinyasa Yogis arrive at 8:30am, Chair Yogis arrive at 10:00am. Please be sure to check-in with our volunteers at the front desk before attending class. Our local vendors and pop-up activities will be held from 11:00am-4:00pm in the back yard.

Discover more freedom in your body while deepening your sense of gratitude, with this challenging yet approachable flow class shared with humor and joy by local bhakti yogi Catiebelle Bulmer. Together we will move through a dynamic and playful sequence that intelligently builds strength, flexibility, breath awareness, and a heart overflowing with bhav, accompanied by live yoga music offered by Avi Burnbaum. *Prerequisite for this class: Student must be able to bear weight on knees and wrists, as well as repetitively get up and down from the floor on their own. If this doesn’t sound like you, stick around for our Chair Yoga and Yin Yoga classes later in the day!

Kirtan Sacred Singing Circle

Our first kirtan of the day, we'll wake up our voice and heart through the medicine of mantra chanting. Together, we’ll explore this powerful bhakti yoga practice that helps calm the mind, allows you to explore your voice in a non-judgmental environment, and reconnects you to your inner reservoirs of joy. No prior kirtan experience is necessary. Mantra booklets will be provided to easily follow along. Both chair and floor seating will be available.

Chair Yoga for Every Body
with Rebecca DeRosa, she/her, Yoga Teacher
Find your center and get grounded in body and mind in this accessible yoga class. Chair yoga sessions flow through a sequence of postures seated in a chair, standing at the wall, and standing next to a chair. This is a great class for those who are desiring to avoid putting excess pressure on their knees and wrists. Emphasis is placed on deepening and lengthening the breath while linking it with fluid movement, cultivating an inner state of calm and disciplined focus. Benefits of chair yoga include increased range of motion, improved circulation, a release of tight muscles and fascial tissue, an increase in muscle strength, and a calming of the nervous system. Chair yoga also works hand & hand with physical therapy, and promotes healing for those recovering from injury. Appropriate for students of all levels. Chairs provided in studio.

Ayurveda for a Radiant Spring

Deep Stretch Yin Yoga
with Shain Fishman, she/her, Yoga Teacher
Yin yoga provides meditative, deep-stretching. Our Yin yoga class consists of a series of long-held, passive floor poses that mainly work the lower part of the body – the hips, pelvis, inner thighs, lower spine. These areas are especially rich in connective tissues. The poses are held for 2-7 minutes, and target the deepest tissues of the body, our connective tissues – ligaments, joints, bones, the deep fascia networks of the body and the meridians. The work of this practice is to release layers of connective tissue leaving you feeling free, open, mobile, and overall better in your body! Yin yoga also offers wonderful emotional and mental health benefits, calming the nervous system and inviting space into the mind. This class is open for seasoned yogis and brand new practitioners alike, and utilizes various props to meet students where they are.

Kirtan Sacred Singing Circle

Our second kirtan of the day, we’ll continue to explore the powerful bhakti yoga practice of call and response mantra chanting to open the heart and calm the mind. Kirtan allows you to explore your voice in a non-judgmental environment, and reconnects you to a deeper and higher meaning. No prior kirtan experience is necessary to join in, as mantra booklets will be provided to easily follow along. Both chair and floor seating will be available.

The Art of Meditation

Do you think you cannot meditate? Yes, you can! In this introductory session we will discuss insights into the nature of mind, you will learn powerful breathing techniques and you will experience a relaxing guided meditation. This 45 minute stress-buster session is an introduction to the Art of Living Part 1 Course.
